Our roll wrapped tubes come in various diameters, thickness and length. Each piece is manufactured to aerospace standards using fiberglass prepreg materials.
Each tube is hand fabricated starting out as thin layers of fiberglass fabric that is pre-impregnated with epoxy resin. The fabric is a 7781 weave that is impregnated with epoxy resin.
The material is wrapped on the outside of a metallic mandrel. This gives a uniform smooth texture on the inside of the tube. The outside surface is glossy from the cello wrapped surface. Additionally we can polish the outside if you desire for an additional charge.
